The plot sounded good, but the story was just so unbelievable. The main female lead was just, ok, their are just no words. Seriously, your father basically gives you away to his VP and keeps your brothers in the room to make sure your "ok" while the guy has sex with you. Your Dada and brothers who treat you like you hung the moon are just going to let this happen whether you want it or not. You are enraged at everyone. But the next day, everything is fine. Seriously! I just couldn't get past the first 1/3 of the book.I just had to stop reading.Product details

Well Laura has done it again...I have been up most evenings until the early hours of the morning, because I could NOT put this book down! This amazing story has such a shocking, exciting, thrilling, cruel, sad, erotic, romantic and and and content. I instantly fell in love with Tobin, and hated Calvin, and there is a really surprising twist near the end, I was so shocked, then again this is what Laura does in her books! But I won't give away too much, as you must read it yourself! All I can say is buy this book as you certainly will not be dissapointed. The suspence has you sitting up in bed, because you have to read the end of the chapter. Can't wait for the next book Laura, you always manage keep me glued to them! Your number one fan..... Jan Xx
I loved this book! This was my first MC romance read and it will definitely not be my last. This story follows the quiet, shy Dahlia who is the baby of her MC family. After losing her sister to a terrible accident her world gets turned upside down. She must now step up to the plate and take on her sister's duties that her father placed on her. I loved the character Tobin and would love to hear more from him. This book will keep you enthralled from the first page and I am now a new fan of Laura Morgan!
This is my first book by this author. I love MC books and this dark MC book is no exception. Dahlia and Tobin are made for each other. As the younger daughter of the MC President, she now has to help Tobin, the VP, with the running of the club. There are many secrets that Dahlia keeps and the suspense is off the charts. She vows to avenge her sisters untimely death and she puts herself in danger doing this. I enjoyed how her three brothers were very protective of her. Ms Morgan's writing is real, gritty and authentic. I was biting my nails in a few chapters. If you like your MC dark, read this book

What a story!! I always know when I’m going to be in for a good read when the synopsis leaves me wanting more and that is what happened when I first read the one for this book! I just literally could not wait to get started and I tell you I was NOT disappointed! I have read a few of this authors books and I just love her writing style! The books flow so well and are easy to read. I often get annoyed when books are disjointed and have a storyline hard to follow but there was none of this at all with this book!
There are twists and turns everywhere in this MC stand-alone novel and it makes for one exciting read! I admit I do like a MC book and this is probably one of the best that I have read! It had a unique storyline that grabbed me from the start and kept my attention until the very end and beyond – I didn’t want it to end! This is definitely one of those books that I will go back and read again!
With the fabulous descriptive writing that this author puts into her books it is pretty easy for you to imagine what you are reading – I do love this in a book!
I liked the characters of Dhalia and Tobin . Although I wasn’t too sure about Tobin to begin with I warmed to him over the story!
I definitely recommend Rough Love to anyone who loves a MC novel but is looking for something a little bit different! Believe me you will not be disappointed!!

Strap on your helmet and grip the handlebars while you take a ride with the Black Knights MC! This is my first read of Laura Morgan’s and I was impressed with the complexity in her storytelling! If you are looking for unpredictability, twists, mystery and flat out SHOCK then Rough Love is your next read!
I got to meet Dahlia, the shy, quiet, nerdy introvert who also happens to be the MC President’s youngest daughter! While reading this story I found myself both cheering and frustrated with her! At first I was thinking WOW, could she maybe wake up and look around at her life! How on a daily basis how can she miss so much! Then I found myself cheering Laura’s writing when she cracked Dahlia wide open and gave her breath!
There are few authors that I have come across who can write in such complexity of both story and character. At times I felt like I was pulled right into the character's world through the descriptive writing. Emotions can be a funny thing and sometimes it takes a minute to catch up to the raw vision that is captured in words. I found myself taking a minute more than once to process what was happening and to me that is a good thing. When a book is unpredictable and you find yourself rereading a passage, you know the author dug deep to express the moment. I didn’t reread to clarify, I read it again to feel the moment!
I really like the fact that this book is a standalone but has secondary characters that could easily develop the Black Knights members into a series. I feel that Laura left a door open to possibly dig deeper into the background of this MC Club! I have read many MC based series and I was captured by the mystery surrounding the plot. Rest assured, there is plenty of stuff that makes Rough Love a solid steamy read and it will keep you on your toes weaving in and out of the lanes!
Looking forward to reading other books from Laura Morgan. You will not be disappointed in this book. Could not put it down.
